God makes the "Lillies" grow!

Matthew 6:28 has been very sweet to me "consider the lilies of the field, see how they grow".
If God causes the lilies to grow and takes care of them then He will cause our Lillie to grow as well!

We are rejoicing this morning b/c HE has done just that!
We had our first check up today with the doctor and they took x-rays and Lillie's leg has grown 10mm.... that's 1cm! (1/2 an inch) WHOOOOO! HOOOOO! (our goal is 6cm)
Praise the Lord!
We are so very grateful!
We were amazed that we had gotten 1 cm already!
It may not keep up that speed the whole time but we were grateful to have it as this point!
Lillie has been telling all the doctors and nurses and therapists today that "God made my leg grow!" she is so excited!
We also got to have a smaller shoe lift already! They took 2 cm off of it already since we will be getting more length! She was so excited to see it smaller! I think that made it very tangible for her to see!
I hope that has given her good motivation, it sure has me!
It makes it all worth it!
We were able to see the new bone on the x-ray this morning, it was incredible to see! (it kind of looked like tooth paste, it was cloudy and was filling in the gap where the bone had been cut).
I wish I could post it here!
The doctor said that everything looked wonderful and was going as hoped!
We will go back in another 2 weeks for another check up!
Lillie is still having knee pain and he said that she will probably just struggle with that through the lengthening. Thankfully it is not unbearable and is not constant, its mainly during exercises and at night when she is sleeping!
I am so proud of her!
We are so grateful to be here and to have this option available for her!
She took about 10 steps today too without her walker!
the therapist said that is a record, she said she has never seen a child walk this early without the walker!

The Lord has done great things for us and we are filled with praise!
Addie Lane and Brad are on their way and should be here tonight so we are both very excited to see them too!
