Last weekend was Addie Lane's 5th birthday! (I still can't believe my baby is 5). Her Daddy took a train to be here with her so that was very special for her. We celebrated with cake and some presents with her. My family sent up presents to her too so she had a fun time. Brad's family gave her a little surprise birthday party before we left!!
She is such a precious little girl and we are so thankful God has blessed our lives with her!

This doll is from my Grandma (Gran Gran) and she was so excited to get it b/c she thinks its an American Girl doll (its the Target version, but hey she was thrilled & that's what counts!) :-)
The horse is from my mom (sorry I couldn't flip it for some reason) Addie Lane was SO excited to get this (I posted a video below of her opening it b/c my mom was sad she was missing seeing her open her gifts on her birthday, so that's for you mom)
This is Addie Lane on the morning of her birthday. She was excited to get to hold up all her fingers on one hand! Notice the doughnut in her other hand. We have a little tradition in our house that you can have birthday cake for breakfast on your birthday (she has been looking forward to that). Instead she chose a doughnut instead though b/c they had just brought some in for the house! She was happy to be 5 and eating a jelly filled doughnut for breakfast! And I think she had sprite too! (she knew she was breaking some major "rules") :-)

She got a barbie scooter from us and she was so excited to go out and ride it. She takes after her mama though and doesn't have much balance, I pray we don't end up with both our girls in fixators! thank you too our sweet families for trying to make her day so special! she had a great time!
