surgery time

Its 8:00 and Brad just took Lillie back to surgery!  We went back around 6:45 and they got her all prepped and gave her some sedation.  We could not stop laughing at Lillie, she was entertaining all the nurses with her "drunk" singing!  She was really excited this morning that her fixator is coming off.  She was nervous about the mask, she always hates being held down to be put to sleep.  (mommy hates that part too, that is why Daddy takes her back).  

The doctor did just come by and tell us that we will be staying overnight tonight in the hospital. We both felt bad b/c we told her that we would not be spending the night.  He said that because she is getting a rod inserted into her femur that the chance of infection is high so she will do a big round of antibiotics over night.  He also said that we may be getting a cast.  We will just have to wait and see.  She will be back for a couple of hours, please pray for her safety. Also pray that the doctor's hands will be guided carefully, there is always a risk of breaking this new bone as the take the fixator off!
