Finally done

Well we are finally in a hospital room.  We were in recovery from 10:00-5:30 b/c there was no room available on the children's floor.  It is amazing the things you see back in recovery when you sit there for 7 hours (I am sure many hipa laws were broken with us being back there that long).
Lillie did great though and could not have been sweeter.  She slept most of that time laying on Brad.  She is laying here in the bed next to me now sleeping.  Her fixator is off and her leg is all bandaged up but it looks great to pull back the sheets and see no fixator!  :-)  The doctor said everything went wonderfully.  He said that her femur bone has ossified so much that she does not need a cast at all.  He said she cannot run or jump for a month but that she is fine to walk on it.  They inserted a steel rod down the middle of her femur that will stay there for at least one year.
He wants to see us back in two months to check on the healing of this new bone and the pin sites but other than that he said her bone looks wonderful and he was very pleased.  We are so thankful to have it off.  We are also thankful that we won't have to do any therapy for a month, it will be nice to take a break from "torturing" her.  We are so grateful for this whole process, thanks so much for your prayers!
