We had a mother daughter tea at church today and Addie Lane was SO excited. All morning she had been asking questions about tea. I think the most exciting part to her was that she was actually going to get tea! When we got there they got to pick out what they wanted to wear to accessorize their dresses..... she of course chose a purple hat and purple boa! Then when it was time to get tea, she just had to have... you guessed it, the purple cup and saucer! :-) Her other favorite thing was that she got to put sugar cubes in her tea, she thought it was funny to call it a "lump". She of course made me wear a hat (that was much too small for my large head). This tea party was built around these dolls called "a life of faith" and they were challenging them to be little girls with a strong faith in our savior! It was really sweet! We had a great time together and I am so thankful for this sweet little girl God has blessed me with. Here are some pictures of her with 2 of her good little friends too, Anita Scarborough and Lexi Brown (and Lexi won the doll, way to go Lex!)
